Gîte La Remise

In April 2015, we began renovations on the detached farmhouse belonging to Château le Grand Biard. As a result, we now offer two rental cottages (gîtes) that can accommodate up to six people each. For stays of up to 12 people, the two cottages can be linked. Thus, it is the perfect accommodation for guests traveling with family, friends or colleagues. Please note that provision of a child’s bed is possible, upon request.

Many details original to the design of the farmhouse have been preserved and the original materials have been reused and refurbished wherever possible. The result is an atmosphere authentic to the period of the castle’s creation. Additionally, guests staying in the cottages have a beautiful view of the romantic castle.

Living and cooking

This cottage features a spacious living room with a dining table and comfortable sitting area. In addition, it features a modern kitchen equipped with an oven, induction cooktop (3 elements), exhaust hood, fridge and freezer, dishwasher, and a sufficient supply of tableware (e.g. crockery, glassware, cutlery, etc.). The entire cottage has underfloor heating.

Sleeping and bathing

Located on the ground floor adjacent to the living area are two bedrooms, each with a double bed (160 x 210 cm). Located on the first floor is a third bedroom with a double bed with single mattresses (90 x 210 cm). The bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink. There is also a small toilet located near the living room.

Garden, terrace and pool

La Remise gîte is located on the Château le Grand Biard estate. The cottage is one of three accommodation options available on the property, together with a second cottage (La Ronde) as well as the Chambre d’Hotes (B&B), which is located in the castle.

Guests can enjoy the outdoors in the cottage’s garden, which features outdoor furniture, a sun umbrella and a BBQ. On the estate, guests can stroll through the woods, swim or enjoy a quiet read at the edge of the pond.
